Jami Ryan Moore, 33, of 714 Strawberry Road, passed away suddenly July 4, 2015 after a tragic motorcycle accident.
Funeral services were conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Reidsville Alliance Church with Rev. Peter Dodge officiating. The family visitation was held Tuesday, July 7th from 6 until 8 p.m. at Johnson & Sons. The pall bearers included, Matthew McGibbony, Jay Rash, Jacob Setliff, James “NA” Price and Raymond Brown and the burial followed at Reidlawn Cemetery
Jami was born in Rockingham County, NC and lived all of his life in Reidsville. He was a member of the Reidsville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and most recently attended the Bethel Baptist AME Church with his family. Jami was an Eagle Scout, attended Boy’s State and graduated from Reidsville High School, having been recognized as a North Carolina Scholar. While in high school, Jami was the Drum Line Captain, a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a member of the 1999 RSH Regional Championship baseball team. Later, he graduated from Elizabeth City State and was a member of the 2005 CIAA Baseball Championship team. He also played in the Triad Adult Baseball League for several years after college. Jami’s breathtaking, charismatic personality and smile welcomed friendships from all walks of life.
Jami is survived by his fiancée, LaToya Taylor; his children, Adrian Herbin Jr. (AJ), Bryce Aiden Moore and Cadence Marie Moore; his mother, Pamela Jayne Moore; his father, Ernest Glenn Dalton; his grandfather, Ralph Moore; and a large extended family.
