Reidsville- Mr. Jamie Quinn Jackson, 50, of 703 Narrow Gauge Rd., passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at home.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Jamie was born on October 28, 1964, in Rockingham County to Jerry Jene and Glenna Saunders Jackson. He was an avid motorcyclist and loved to watch NASCAR racing. Jamie was a loving and devoted fiancé, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jon Russell Jackson.
Survivors include his fiancé, Tina Lovelace; his mother Glenna Saunders Jackson; his children, Jessica Jackson, Justin Jackson and Carrie Lovelace; his grandchildren, Kamiya Jackson, Donald Noble, Jr., Brittney Carter, Abbygail Odell and Jeremiah “Trae” Lovelace; his sisters, Greta Jackson Stephens and husband David Dwayne and Abra Jackson Tucker and fiancé Fredrick T. Thornton; his nephews, Jon Russell Jenkins and wife Pam, Jeffrey Jenkins, Joshua Edwards, Kyle Edwards, Matthew Tucker and Mason Tucker, and his great niece and nephew, Montana Jenkins and Hunter Jenkins.
The family would like to express a special thank you to all of the staff of Hospice of Rockingham County for their help and support.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 16, 2015, from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
