Jane Martin Knight

Reidsville: Jane Martin Knight, 82, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Sandy Brown and grandson Ronald Dale Colbert II officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Jane was born in Patrick County, Va. to the late Charlie Bernard Martin and Sadie Lou Martin. She was devoted to her family and friends. She possessed a very witty and outgoing personality. Her willingness to lend a hand to whatever or wherever was evident of her lifestyle. She was an avid fisherman and loved to grow her flower garden. Jane depended on her faith to guide her through any situations in life. Along with her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lewis Knight; five brothers: Charlie Jr., Billy Jr., William, Floyd, and Jackie Martin, all of Reidsville; and a sister, Frances Ann Martin of Stewart, Va. Survivors include her daughter, Scarlett McGee and husband, Eddie of Reidsville; grandchild, Ronald Dale Colbert II and wife Stephanie of Alabama; great grandchildren: Christina Bisaccio and husband, Jeremy, Joanna Colbert and Charlie Colbert; great great grandson, Lincoln Michael Bisaccio; and one brother, Bobby Martin and wife, Frances of Reidsville. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, December 1st at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
