Jane Somers Pruitt Gooch

Jane Somers Pruitt Gooch, 91, of Reidsville, NC passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Rockingham County Hospice Home. Due to Covid 19 the family will do a private memorial service at a later date. Jane was born in Rockingham County to the late Thomas Luther Somers and Sallie Elizabeth Gill Somers. She was a member of Grace Covenant Church and worked for many years at Annie Penn Hospital in the Emergency Room and later at Macfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Hugh W. Pruitt and James Gooch and 5 siblings. She is survived by her children, Sandra Bolden and husband, David, Hugh Pruitt, Jr. and wife Patsy, and Dewey Pruitt; 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
