Jean Nichols Catlett

Jean Nichols Catlett passed away in her home on Monday, January 23, 2022.

She was born in Rockingham County on December 27, 1954 to the late William Nichols, Jr. and Constance Scoggin Nichols. Jean’s career began as a booking agent for a modeling agency in Greensboro, NC. She then moved on to put her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development from UNC-Greensboro to work and became a teacher for special needs kids at Lawsonville Avenue School. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother William “Tripp” Nichols, III and brother-in-law Larry “Buncle” Price, Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Catlett; sons, Joshua Nichols, Travis Southard and wife, Kayla; brother, Tony Nichols and wife, Kimberly; sister; Nancy Nichols Price; sister-in-law, Melinda Nichols; nieces, Kelley Price, Grace Katie Tori and Chelsea Nichols; nephews, Nick and Zach Nichols and Bear Price.

Due to Covid-19 there will be no formal services, friends and family are welcome to pay respects at her residence.
