Jesse Lee Windsor

Reidsville: Jesse Lee Windsor, Jr., 87, of 1202 Gunn Street, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 5, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mickey Alcorn officiating. The burial will follow in New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with military graveside rites. Mr. Windsor was the son of the late Jesse Lee Windsor, Sr. and Myrtle Somers Windsor. He was a charter member of Bible Baptist Church and retired from MacField. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois H. Windsor; brothers, Melvin E. Windsor and Bobby W. Windsor. He is survived by his wife, Helen Somers Windsor of Reidsville; son, William L. Windsor of Richmond, VA; daughter, Sheryl W. Comer and husband, Mike of Georgetown, TX; sister Dorothy W. “Dot” Paschal of Reidsville; two granddaughters, Ashley Marie Deering of Lansing, MI and Shannon W. Smith of Reidsville, NC; great grandson, Noah J. Windsor and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
