Jewell Bailey Lynn

Reidsville: Jewell Bailey Lynn, 78 went home to be with the Lord at her home surrounded by family on January 6, 2019. A funeral service will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home, Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Gary Loftis officiating. The burial will follow at Reidlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 6-8 PM and other times at the home. She was born to the late James Austin Bailey Sr. and Hazel Amelia Owens Bailey in Rockingham N.C. She loved flowers, gardening and decorating her home. She was a member of Pleasant View Assembly of God and always had a heart for the Lord. She loved to serve others but most of all she loved to care for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Page Lynn and her brother James Austin “Bo” Bailey Jr. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Ernest O. Lynn; children, Rendall Scott Lynn and Jennifer Lynn Carter (Craig); grandchildren, Kyleigh, Lisabeth and Aaron along with one great grandchild, Carter and sister, JoAnne Ballard.
