JoAnne Moore Markham

Brown Summit – JoAnne Moore Markham, was born Saturday, November 25, 1939 to the late Harvey Russell Moore and Elise Spicer Moore. She departed this life for her heavenly home on Monday, October 29, 2912. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Harmon and Mr. Daniel Boone officiating. The burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. During her life, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She leaves behind a loving, devoted, caring husband, Charles; three sons, Danny, Bobby and Mike Hyler; one daughter, Lisa Shaver and son-in-law, Jeff Shaver; three step children, Chip, Audra and Kerry Markham; two brothers, Bud and Roger Moore; sister, Mae Williams and three sisters-in-law, Audrey and Fran Moore and Beverly Saunders. In life she was blessed with five beautiful granddaughters, Melissa Hyler, Leslie Hyler Adair, Jennifer Degroot, Sylvia Stawowczyk and Morgan Shaver; two grandsons, Jeremy and Steven Hyler; three step-grandchildren, Kayleigh Patrick, Michael Early and Brianna Markham; three precious great-grandchildren, Landon Stawowczyk, Isaac Degroot and Rylee Patrick; one aunt, Eunice Taylor; two nieces, Arlene Loye and Carol Moore; two nephews, Timmy and Russell Moore; an abundance of loving cousins; five special friends, Ginger Shaver, Dot Beville, Nell Smith, Ronda Clark and Toni Mabe. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The family would like to give a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice of Burlington.
