Joanne Wingfield McCollum

Joanne Wingfield McCollum, 85, passed away January 4, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Reidsville, NC to the late George and Irene Wingfield. Also preceding her in death are her husband, Frank; son, Bill; and daughter, Kathy.

Lovingly known as “Mama”, she loved the beach and bingo. She also traveled the world.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with the inurnment and committal following at Reidlawn Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Amy Ramirez, and her husband, Alex; granddaughters: Anna Froehler and her husband, Robbie, and Ashley Ramirez; great-grandchildren: Olivia, Cameron, and Jaxson; and numerous extended relatives and friends.
