John Patrick Moore

Greensboro: John Patrick Moore, 34, of Greensboro, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Beacon Place of Greensboro. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, August 24, 2014 at First Congregational Christian Church with Rev. Lee Eggers and Rev. Roger Price officiating. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro. John was a native of Pelham, North Carolina and lived his entire life in the Triad. He was the owner and operator of Foobar Development, LLC, a computer IT service. He was an avid automobile enthusiast and his other hobbies included playing pool, wood working, hiking, playing tennis and anything technology related. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gordon Thomas and his paternal grandmother and paternal grandfather, Geraldine and Dood Moore. He is survived by his mother and father, Ruby and Dennis Moore of Browns Summit; his sister, Jennifer Moore of Greensboro; his maternal grandmother, Mary Thomas of Peachland, NC and extended family and friends. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, August 23 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at Dennis and Ruby’s home (3505 Summit Lakes Drive, Browns Summit).
