Reidsville: John Henry Pierce, IV, 74 of 190 Holly Hill Drive, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2010, at Annie Penn Hospital.The family will see friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, March 8, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM with the Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating. Interment will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, March 9th at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashe County.Mr. Pierce born in Ashe County to the late John Henry Clay and Myrtle Clyde Miller Pierce and was a retiree of Husky Manufacturing. Survivors include his daughters, Regina Pierce Kubota and husband, John, Alanna Faye Pierce; son, John Henry Pierce V and wife, Patricia; grandchildren, Shallan, Meaghan and Greer Kubota, Don, Gina and Taylor Pierce; siblings, Ruth Bata and husband, Bo, Judge A. Pierce and wife, Betty, Vel Pierce and wife, Kathy, Archie Pierce and wife, Carolyn, Vada Locklear, Howard Pierce and wife, Brenda, Avis Graybeal and husband, Joe, Zane Pierce and wife, Jane and Larry Pierce and wife, Shirley; brother-in-law, Gene Crist; sister-in-law Mrs. Carolyn Pierce; the mother of his children, Regina Faye Pierce and numerous nieces and nephews.At other times the family will be at the home of Patricia Pierce, 181 Kendrick Lane, Ruffin.Condolences may be made to the family at www.wilkersonfuneral.com
