John Walter Toler, 60, of 4481 Park Springs Road, died on Thursday, April 29 2010, at the home of his sister.Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 3:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Dunn and Rev. Wayne Goodson officiating. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. John was born in Pittsylvania County to Hilda Osborne Pruitt and the late Claude W. Toler and was a brick mason. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Toler.Survivors include his mother, Hilda Pruitt; daughter, Tabitha Denny and husband, Curt; sisters, Fran Moore and husband, Roger, Kay Chambers and husband, Roger, Susan Lovelace and husband, John, Virginia Manring and husband, Kenneth all of Reidsville and Joan Daniel of Providence; brother, Camden Toler and wife, Julie of Ohio; grandchildren, Megan and Zack; special friends, Chris Johnson and Mike New; numerous nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Friday, April 30th, from 6 to 8 PM and other times at the residence of his sister, Joan Daniel, 256 Seamster Road, Providence, NC.
