John G. Wicker

Reidsville- Mr. John G. Wicker, Sr., 64, of Reidsville passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015 at his home. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 31st, 2015 at two o’clock at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Rev. John G. Wicker, Jr. will officiate. Mr. Wicker was born on December 30th, 1950 in Guilford County to the late George Wicker and Jessie Moore Wicker. He was a Baptist by faith and retired from the construction industry. He was preceded in death by his brother, George Robert Wicker. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Wicker of the home; two sons, Phillip Wicker and wife Tiffany; John Wicker, Jr., and wife, Rhonda; one daughter, Lisa Wicker, all of Reidsville; ten grandchildren; one brother, Donald Wicker and wife Theresa of Greensboro; three sisters, Debbie Robbins and husband, Steve of Leland; Mamie Brown and husband, Mark of Summerfield; Linda Mason and husband, Jay of Greensboro. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from six until eight o’clock at the funeral home.
