Johnnie David

Reidsville- Mr. Johnnie David, 70, of Reidsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 24th, 2014. Johnnie was born on August 1st, 1944 in Gaston County, North Carolina to Otto David and Dorothy Deaton David. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the Marine Corps. He was an active member of Calvary’s Hill Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by his father, Otto David and his brother, Michael David. Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Ann David of the home; two sons: Johnnie David and wife, Lisa of Winston-Salem; Bill Allgeier and wife, Linda of Little Falls, New Jersey; one daughter, Marie Horner and husband, Ricky of McLeansville; mother, Dorothy David of Bishop, California; grand-daughters: Katy Couron and husband, Dennon of San Antonio, Texas; Ginger Allgeier of Austin, Texas and Amelia Allgeier of Little Falls, New Jersey; many friends and a special friend, Lonnie Clark. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 28th, 2014 at three o’clock at Calvary’s Hill Baptist Church, 1121 N Scales Street, Reidsville, North Carolina 27320 with Pastors Jackie Talton and Phillip Talton officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary’s Hill Baptist Church, 1121 N Scales Street, Reidsville, North Carolina 27320.
