Johnny Edwin Surles

Reidsville: Mr. Johnny Edwin Surles, 56, of Reidsville, passed away on Friday, February 13th, 2015. Mr. Surles was born in Alamance County, NC, on December 17th, 1958, to George Roosevelt and Sadie Elizabeth James Surles. He was an active and faithful member and elder of Redemption Road Church. He loved to travel and also loved NASCAR. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and son. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Surles; his son, Mark Surles; his daughters, Harley Surles and Kayla Pruitt; three granddaughters, Chloe, Caylie and Cheyanne; his mother, Sadie Surles; his brothers, David Surles and Jeffrey Surles and wife Miranda; five nieces and nephews; one great nephew; special friend, Daniel Bray and wife Crystal and his two dogs, Tucker and Coco. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 18th, 2015, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Bray officiating. Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M., Monday, February 16th, 2015, at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
