Jonah William Blake English

Jonah William Blake English, went home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2023 at Women and Children’s Center in Greensboro.

The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 9:30-10:30AM. A private burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Jonah’s parents were excited for the arrival of their first son, although painful, they are thankful for Jesus coming to walk him home.

Jonah was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Virginia Anne Stamey; paternal great-great-grandfather, James Wayne Waller and cousin, Greyson Coleman.

He is survived by his parents, Zachary English and Caroline Stamey; sister, Charlee English; maternal grandfather, Randy Stamey; paternal grandparents, Grey English and wife Amber La Fave and Billy Barber; maternal great-grandmother, Jeanie Stamey; paternal great-grandparents, Sharon Waller English and George English; uncle, Chris Reyes; in addition to other aunts, uncles and extended family.

Zach and Caroline would like to say a special thank you to Women’s Hospital for their compassion and care and to friends and family for their love and support during this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jonah’s parents to assist them during this difficult time.
