Joseph "Joe" Edward Lillard

Joseph Edward Lillard, 82, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2023.

Joe was born in Greenville, Mississippi and raised in Parkin, Arkansas. He graduated from Parkin High School and from the University of Arkansas. After spending three years in Memphis in the banking industry, Joe worked for the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company for more than seven years. This experience led him to run his own beer distributorship, Mark IV Beverage in Reidsville and Greensboro, North Carolina for many happy years. Joe sold his business in 2000 after which he and his wife Carolyn moved to Las Vegas where they lived for 20 years and loved every minute of it. Joe always described himself as a lucky man. Those who knew him say he was also a good man. He maintained many close and meaningful friendships  from childhood, college and beyond. Joe was loved by so many and will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn and by his son Jerry. He is survived by his daughter Laura, granddaughter Kirsti, daughter-in-law Lorna; brother Richard, sisters-in-law Francye and  Janet.
