Joshua Karl Blake

Reidsville – Joshua Karl Blake, 22, of 996 Vernon Road, died on Monday, October 1, 2012. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Sandy Crossroads Wesleyan Church with Pastor Rudy Woods officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times the family will be at 1671 County Home Road. Joshua was a native of Danville, VA. He was currently employed with Big Daddy’s Detailing in Greensboro. He loved computer games, composing music and singing. He was outgoing and always such a good person. He will truly be missed. Joshua was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Ryan Blake; his maternal grandfather, Carlos Clifton and his paternal grandparents, William and Martha Blake. He is survived by his fiancé, Betty Jo Hall of the home; his daughter, Emily Marie Blake of the home; his mother, Lisa Clifton Adkins and husband, David of Chatham; his father, Jonathan Blake of Youngsville, NC; his brothers, Nick Mitchell Blake of Youngsville, NC, Ethan Hunter Blake of Chatham, VA and Cameron Christopher Moore of Reidsville; his sisters, Taylar Brieana Blake of Chatham, VA, Katelyn Sierra Moore of Reidsville, and Alicia LaVonne Blake of Danville, VA; his maternal grandmother, Leslie Moser and husband, Glend of Danville, VA; and a large extended family.
