Reidsville - Joy Covington Paschal, 70, of 4234 Ashland Road, died on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Avante of Reidsville.A graveside service will be held at Reidlawn Cemetery on Tuesday , February 7, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Wayne Smithey officiatingMrs. Paschal was born in Guilford County to the late Flay Dewey Covington and Pearl Easter Covington. She was a member of Reidsville Baptist Church and a former nursing assistant at Annie Penn Hospital. She dearly loved all of her cats, but especially "Snow Ball" . In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Reid Paschal; sister, Nonnie Smith and brother, Thomas Covington.Mrs. Paschal is survived by her sons, Timmy Reid Paschal and wife, Tammy McKinney Paschal, William Bruce Paschal and wife, Lynn J. Paschal; grandchild Sabrina Annette Paschal, step-grandchildren, Melissa Tweedle and Payton Tweedle; niece, Patty Bondurant; brother, James Covington of Stokesville; sisters, Ruby Stanley of Colfax, Ersie Johnson of Snow Camp, Betty Gibson of Greensboro, Daisy Shelton of Greensboro, Shirley Bame of Jamestown, Mary Johnson of Greensboro and Bonnie Paschal of Reidsville. The family will receive friends at the home of Bonnie Paschal, 4178 Ashland Road, Reidsville.
