Joyce Spivey Bruce

Eden– Joyce Spivey Bruce, 70, of 1227 Norman Drive, Apt 2C, died on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Morehead Nursing Center. There will be no funeral service or visitation. The family will meet at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 4:00 PM for a private viewing. Joyce was born on September 21, 1940 in Boiling Springs, TN to the late James Clarence and Edith Mae York Spivey. She was registered nurse and her travels as a nurse took her to many places and situations. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Timothy Scott. She is survived by her sons, Billy Joe Ethridge of Eden, Jeffrey Ethridge of NC, Clyde Scott of TN; daughters, Patricia Gale Scott of Reidsville, Sharon Parrish of Alabama, Shirley Miller of TN and Deborah Perkins of Eden, 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and I great great grandson.
