Juanita Carter Moore

Reidsville – Mrs. Juanita C. Moore, 87, of 2302 Iron Works Road, Reidsville, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Annie Penn Hospital. Mrs. Moore was born September 2, 1925 in Rockingham County to the late James Hunter Carter and Bernice Marie Pyrtle Carter. She was retired from American Tobacco Company and was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. Juanita enjoyed sewing, baking, cooking and gardening, but most of all she was extremely devoted to her family and was a friend to all. Survivors include two sons, Mike Moore and wife Tammy of Burlington; Randy Moore of the home; grandchildren, J. T. Moore and wife Leslie, Dustin Moore and wife Amanda; great-grandchildren, J. D. Moore and Kaydin Joyce Moore; one brother, Wilfred Carter of Reidsville; She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James Melvin (Jim) Moore who passed away on April 3, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 3:00 P. M. in Sharon Baptist Church. Rev. Tom Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
