Judy BrittJudy Stevenson Britt, 72, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 13, 2020. Per her request, there are no formal services. Judy was born in Moore county to the late Alton Malachai Stevenson and Lillian Cox Averitt Stevenson. She worked as a birth certificate clerk and a lactation consultant with Wesley Long Hospital. She eventually retired from Chase Bank working as a Mortgage loan processor. With her analytical mind, she enjoyed solving mysteries. She could often be found watching court tv where she always got to the bottom of the case. She had a calm and confident presence, always precise and honest with her words. She was truly a storyteller and could take you where she was with her imagination. She enjoyed dancing; shagging was her favorite. Most of all she loved her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Stevenson and sister, Brenda Johnson. Judy is survived by her children, Janice Smith and husband, Robbie, Stephen C. Britt and wife, Mitzi and Stacy R. Britt; grandchildren, Jacob M. Neal, Hunter R. Britt, Trevor D. Britt, Josh S. Neal, J.Marshall Britt and Ethan B. Smith; brother, Chis Stevenson as well as a large and loving extended family.
