Judy Harmon Lester

Judy Harmon Lester, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 28, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private graveside will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Duane King officiating. Judy was born on December 16, 1954 to the late John and Violet Tucker in Rockingham County. Judy was a member of Piedmont Baptist church and worked as a tax preparer at H&R Block for over 30 years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Judy will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Dewey Lester; children, Chris Harmon, Steve Lester and wife Kathy, Kim Lester; grandchildren, Emily Owens, Breanna Owens, and Nathan Lester; siblings, Ray Tucker and wife Pat, Phyllis Smith and Jerry, John Tucker and wife Shawn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Owens Evans; brother, Alvis Tucker; first husband, Danny Harmon; and many other dearly missed family members.
