Judy Lane Mayhew Moore

Reidsville: Mrs. Judy Lane Mayhew Moore, 71, of Reidsville, passed away on Monday, March, 31st, 2015. Mrs. Moore was a native of Rockingham County. She was born on May 8th, 1943 to the late Bernard Douglas Mayhew and Ada Beatrice Sharp Mayhew. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Junior Moore. Survivors include two daughters, Candace and husband, Jason O’Briant of Summerfield; April and husband, Dan Fox of Timmonsville, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Noah O’Briant, Sara O’ Briant, Jordan Fox, Lauren Fox, Claire Fox and Macy Fox. Funeral services will be held at two o’clock on Friday, April 3rd, 2015 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Rev. Gene Davis will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rockingham County Animal Shelter, 250 Cherokee Camp Road, Reidsville, North Carolina 27320 or to the charity of the donor’s choosing.
