Julius Meadows Medley

Reidsville: Julius Meadows Medley, 78, of 255 Camp David Trail, died on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Julius was born in Rockingham County to the late Julius Washington Medley and Ida Rebecca Rigney Medley. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and retired from Burlington Industries with 42 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Shirley C. Medley of the home; son , Tim Medley and wife, Deborah; grandchildren, Alex and Sara Medley, all of Mooresville; brother, John Medley and wife, Lena of Reidsville; adopted grandson, Jonathan Rigney; niece, Reida Medley; half sister, Allene Mitchell. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Monday, December 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Other times the family will be at the residence.
