Katherine Richards Matherly

Reidsville: Katherine Richards Matherly, 94, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. She was born in Franklin County, VA, on April 22, 1920, to the late Owen Henry and Elizabeth Stump Richards. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Matherly, her sons Thomas and James Richards, her grandsons Donald Chrisman and David Matherly, her granddaughter, LeAnne Manus and her eight siblings. Survivors include her daughters, Ruby Spencer and Juanita Matherly; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and one great great-great grandson. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
