Fayetteville, GA - Katherine Smith Seigler, 97, died on Wednesday, February 1, 2012.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 10, 2012 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Huggins officiating. Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery.Mrs. Seigler was born in Reidsville to the late Joseph H. and Della Harville Smith. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Reidsville where she was a member of the Joy Singers. She was also an active member of the Eastern Star and the Westwood Extension Homemakers Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Heywood Seigler and her brothers and sisters.She is survived by her daughter, Marie Seigler of Fayetteville, GA.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1071 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22311 or the United Hospice Foundation, 1626 Jeurgens Court, Norcross, GA 30093.
