Kathleen Theresa McCartney Kannegiser

Greensboro: Kathleen Theresa McCartney Kannegiser, 87, passed away at her daughter's home early Thursday morning, January 21, 2016 Kathleen was born in West Orange, New Jersey, Essex County on December 28, 1928 to the late James McCartney and Margaret Hollywood McCartney. She had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. She loved her family and grandchildren very much. She enjoyed bowling, reading, and experiencing a great bargain. Kathleen exhibited an artistic nature about herself. She broadened her horizons by traveling overseas to several countries and always enjoyed her beach trips. Mrs. Kannegiser was preceded in death by her husband. Mrs. Kannegiser is survived by her son, Bill Kannegiser and wife, Marianne of New Jersey; daughters: Terri McCullough and husband, Greg of New Jersey, Kathy Ryan and husband, Bob of Greensboro, and Margie Malmeister and husband, John of New York; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; and niece, Kathy Finley and husband, Mike of New Jersey.
