Kathy Speagle Harris

Reidsville – Kathy L. Speagle Harris, 57, passed away May 30, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Congregational United Church of Christ with Rev. Julie Peeples officiating. Kathy was born in Guilford County on August 1, 1958 to the late Richard Lee Speagle and Becky Speagle Billings. She truly loved the beach and the Carolina Panthers, along with being a true Duke fan. Her occupation was a caring nurse, RN, and it showed in her compassion and love for taking care of her patients and her family. Ms. Harris is survived by her sister, Cherrie Speagle and spouse, Terri L. Way; niece, Kathelyn W. Speagle; very close friend, Tommy Caudill, Sr.; and good friends and neighbors, Alice and Jerome Martin. She will be missed by all but especially her two cats: “Boo” and “Runt-Runt.” In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Congregational United Church of Christ, 400 W.
