Greensboro - Keith Dwayne Smith, 46, of 315 Bowman Road, died Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 29, 2012 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin Bowman and Rev. Darrell Boles officiating. The burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.Keith was born in Rockingham County and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was formerly employed with Unifi as a Supervisor. He was a loving father, son and brother. His favorite pastimes included decorating, gardening and college athletics. He was always the life of the party. He is preceded in death by his father, William Ernest Smith, Sr. and his sister, Wanda Smith Moricle.He is survived by his son, Ryan Austin Smith; his mother, Martha Miller Bowman and step father, Marvin Bowman; sister, Peggy Doman and husband, John; brother, Ernie Smith and wife, Karen all of Reidsville; step-sisters, Lisa Moore and husband, Mark of Reidsville, Cindy Bender and husband, Jeff of Somerset, PA; step brother, Steve Bowman and wife, Lisa of Reidsville; his former wife and special friend, Rhonda Smith and a large extended family.The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 28th at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 7:00 -9:00 PM and other times at Ernie and Karen's home (2367 Ashley Loop).Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.Wilkerson Funeral Home is assisting the family and condolences may be sent to www.wilkersonfuneral.com.
