Kelly Rex Cochran

Reidsville: Kelly Rex Cochran, Jr., 69, of 3257 Vance Street Ext., passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Annie Penn Hospital. There will be no formal services at this time. Mr. Cochran was born in Roanoke, VA and was the son of the late Kelly R. and Frances Bohon Cochran. He was formerly employed with AC Corporation. He was an accomplished musician and loved any kind of music. Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his step daughter, Dorothy Edmonds. He is survived by his wife, Janice Compton Cochran of the home; his sons, Kevin Cochran of Reidsville, Keith Cochran of Wake Forest, NC, Kyle Cochran of Greensboro and Curtis Singleton of Reidsville; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Jan York of Foley, AL, Teresa Davis of Foley, AL and Debra Sharp of Salt Lake City, UT; mother and father-in-law, JD and Sara Compton; special nephew, Dwayne Coe and numerous other nieces and nephews.
