Kelly Minyard

Reidsville – Kelly Minyard, 73, of 1104 Arbor Lane, died on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Penn Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Kelly was born in Harlan Co. Kentucky to the late Hiram Minyard and Betty Jane Turner. He was a graduate of NC State . He retired from Reidsville Senior High School as the head Football Coach and Athletic Director. He was a member of the Elks Club and the Bible Way Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Minyard. He is survived by his wife, Janice A. Minyard of the home; daughter, Missy Minyard of Browns Summit; sisters, Mildred Stephens of Kernersville, Edna Shelton of Reidsviille and Annas Fulp of Stoneville. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Other times the family will be at the residence.
