Kenneth Wayne McKinney

Kenneth Wayne McKinney, 73, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gordon Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Kenneth was born in Rockingham County to the late Felix Rial McKinney, Jr. and Gladys French Blakley. He was a self employed welder-pipefitter and attended Reidsville Pentecostal Holiness Church. He enjoyed his collection of cars and antiques and was always willing to help friends and those in need. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Fain McKinney and brother, Freddie McKinney. Survivors include his daughter, Starr Beth DePriest and husband, Matt; his son; Kenneth Rial McKinney and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Emma and Tanner DePriest and Samuel and Micah McKinney; sister, Virginia Wilson and husband, Jerry; brother, Grey McKinney and wife, Doris and sister-in-law, Margaret McKinney.
