Kenneth Leonard Prontaut

Kenneth Leonard Prontaut, Sr., 58, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 at his home. A memorial service will held at 5:00PM on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating. Kenneth was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Lloyd and Dorothy Holt Prontaut. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He was a loving father and grandfather. Survivors are his daughter, Jade Murphy and husband, William Murphy, Jr.; son, Kenneth “Kenny” Prontaut, Jr.; grandchildren, Madison and Will Murphy; brothers, Lloyd Prontaut and wife, Terri; sister, Susan Groat and many other special nieces, nephews and relatives.
