Kimberly Jones Edwards

Mayodan: Kimberly Jones Edwards, 52, of 807 W. Jackson Street, went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at her home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Fairgrove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1735 Cunningham Mill Road, Reidsville, NC with Dr. Craven Williams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at her parent’s home, 321 VanHook Road, Reidsville. Kimberly was a native and longtime resident of Rockingham County. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Her love for animals was evident throughout her life and she especially adored her horse, Chief Joseph. She has courageously endured her journey with MS for several years. She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Rhodes; her brothers, Tim and Chris Lowry. Kimberly is survived by her sons, Zach Fowlkes and wife, Naomi of Pinnacle and Jonathon Fowlkes and wife, Staci of Mayodan; grandchildren, Finley Christopher Fowlkes, Karlie Leeann Fowlkes and Randall Blake Fowlkes; father, Bobby Jones and wife, Betty of Reidsville; brothers, Gary Jones of Browns Summit, Greg VanHook and wife, Angie of Madison and Art VanHook of Reidsville; sister, Paula DeRosa and husband, Sal of Salisbury, MD and a large extended family.
