Reidsville - LaDonna Moseley French, 45, and her husband, Douglas "Troy" French, 48, of 791 Pinewood Road, died early Saturday, February 4, 2012 at their home.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Reidsville Christian Church with Dr Jeff Johnson, Mr. David Langston and Rev. Tom Brown officiating. The burial will follow in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery with military graveside rites for Troy.LaDonna was born in Rockingham County, NC. She was currently employed with Shapiro Eye Care as a Patient Service Advocate with over 11 years of service. LaDonna was always the life of the party and seemed to know how to make people laugh regardless of the circumstances. Her children were her first priority and she supported them in every endeavor. She was extremely gifted with crafts and her creativity was evident in the many gifts she made for so many. She loved to shop and seemed to always know where to get the best deal. She served as the pianist for the Reidsville Bible Chapel.Troy was also a native of Rockingham County, NC. He was honorably discharged from the US Navy, where he served as an Air Traffic Controller. He was currently employed with Duke Energy with over 22 years of service. Troy was meticulous and detailed in every area of his life. He was a hard worker and determined to provide for his family. He was a movie buff and enjoyed playing with his kids; he especially loved watching Hunter and Whitley play sports. Troy served as a crew chief for the Reidsville crew of the Sunoco Auto Events Department. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Douglas "Duck" French.Survivors include their children, Whitley and Hunter French of the home. LaDonna is also is survived by her, parents, Donald and Nancy Moseley; her sister, Kathy Moseley Hayes all of Reidsville; her niece Erin Hayes and her nephew, Jordan Hayes. Troy is also survived by his mother, Joyce "Ann" French; his sister, Lisa French Moore and husband, Todd all of Reidsville; and his brother, Craig French and wife, Shannon of Brown Summit; nephews, Jacob, Caleb and Trey; and nieces, Jenna and Taylor.LaDonna and Troy lived as an exemplary couple loving their children and serving their community. Together, they were in fellowship at Reidsville Bible Chapel. They enjoyed Carolina sports and supporting Rockingham County High School in every way. They were always generous and gracious to anyone less fortunate. They led by example as they loved their children, family and friends.The family will receive friends at Reidsville Christian Church on Tuesday, February 7th from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and other times the family will be at 728 Brown Road (Don and Nancy Moseley's home & 728 Crescent Drive, Ann French's home).In lieu of flowers, an account will be set up for Whitley and Hunter at a later date.
