Lancil "Buddy" Finlen

Lancil “Buddy” Finlen, Jr., 55, of 632 Troublesome Road passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. David Anderson officiating. There will be a private burial after the service. Buddy was born in Rockingham County and was the son of the late Lancil “Bud” Finlen, Sr. and Ruby Lewis Finlen. He was formerly employed with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Buddy loved the outdoors and anything to do with farming. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his special uncle, Junior Lewis. Buddy is survived by Carolyn Pergerson, the love of his life, of the home; his brothers, Greg Finlen and Pam Vernon, Jeff Finlen and wife, Wanda and Claude Finlen all of Reidsville; several nieces and nephews, a large extended family and many community friends.
