Larry "Buncie" Wallace Price

Larry “Buncie” Wallace Price, 64, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held at Main Street United Methodist Church on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Joe Tarpley officiating. There will be no formal visitation at this time. Larry was born on August 5, 1953 in Rockingham County to the late Wallace Reid Price and Doris Gammon Price. After 44 years of service, Buncie retired from Commonwealth, Inc (former American Tobacco Company) as a multicraft journeyman. He loved being a part of this community and was an avid outdoorsman. His love was his family as a dedicated and loving husband and father. Along with his family, his beloved dogs will greatly miss him. Along with his parents, Buncie was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Wayne Price. Survivors include his wife Nancy Nichols Price of the home; daughter, Kelley Elaine Price; son, Larry “Bear” Wallace Price, Jr.; grandson, Colton Lee Price; brother, Ronnie Reid Price; sister, Linda Ann Price; and numerous nieces and nephews.
