Larry Hartwell

Reidsville – Larry Ray Hartwell, 51, of 14123 Hwy 158, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 16, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Crawford Bradshaw officiating. Larry was a native of Kilene, TX. He was a veteran of the US Army and was formerly employed with Jowat Corporation. He was an avid sportsman, but especially loved hunting and fishing with his wife, Candy. He was preceded in death by his father, T.J. Hartwell.Larry is survived by his wife, Candy Tickle Hartwell of the home; his daughters, Laura Hartwell and Jessica Stansberry and husband, Kelly all of Eden; his step sons, Benjamin Daniel Pruitt of Asheboro and Joe Ben Christopher, Jr. of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Sydney and Emily Stansberry and Morgan Pruitt; and his mother, Joyce Hartwell of Eden.There will be no formal visitation, but the family will receive friends at Peggy Tickle’s home (391 Meadow Branch Road).
