Larry "Rusty" Reeves

Larry “Rusty” Reeves, 52, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Hospice of Rockingham County on September 19, 2021.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00PM and other times at the home of the family.

Rusty was born on January 14, 1969, in Guilford County to the late Johnny and Frances Reeves. He worked for Triad Masonry in Reidsville for twenty years before he became disabled and could no longer work. His hobbies included playing poker on the weekends and he enjoyed going to Cherokee with his brother, Boogie. Rusty was a family man who loved his wife, daughters, godson, siblings, and especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his fun-loving personality and the pranks he played on his grandchildren. Larry Rusty Reeves will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane Reeves; two loyal companions, Tiger and Angel; daughters, Heather Paschal and husband Charlie, Kimberly Reeves; godson, Michael Harris; grandchildren, Collin Paschal, Nathan Coleman, Gavin Paschal, and Natalee Paschal; brother, John “Boogie” Reeves, Jr. and wife Melissa; sister Kristy Miller and husband Chris; nieces and nephews, Caleb Reeves, Emma Reeves, Maggie Reeves, and C.J. Miller; in addition to many other extended family and countless friends.
