Lawrence Edward Martin, Sr.

Lawrence Edward Martin, Sr., 78, passed away on Sunday, February 21,2021 at his home. In honor of Mr. Martins request, there will be no formal services. Lawrence was born in Rockingham County to the late Lawrence Ormar Martin and Dora Martin Martin and was a retiree of APAC Construction. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Martin and a brother, Richard Martin. Survivors are his sons, Eddie Martin and wife, Diane and Charles Martin; daughter, Patricia Cobb; grandchildren, Paul Higgins and wife, Jasmine, Krystal Jordan and husband, Nick, Lee Strickland and wife, Jen, Cody Martin and wife, Ryan, Lauren Clayton and husband, Brad, Jeremy Cobb and Brooke, Heather Cobb, Trey Martin and Rhett Martin; great grandchildren, Paloma and Bellame Higgins, Katie Layla and Kylie Jordan, Grayson and Eli Strickland, Connor and Owen Clayton, Kristen and Charlie Cobb and Coleson Martin; brother, Tommy Joe Martin and wife, Gayle.
