Leroy Mansfield

Leroy Mansfield, 78, of Browns Summit, went home to be with The Lord Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at White Oak Manor in Burlington.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Pastor Mickey Alcorn officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Wilkerson Funeral Home.                      

Leroy was born in Alamance County and the son of the late Robert and Blanch Capes Mansfield. He worked many years as a heating and air specialist and later was the Owner / Operator of Leroy’s Lawnmowers. He loved life, always joking around and finding ways to tease whoever was in his presence. Leroy was an avid Dolly Parton fan and an Elvis “Look alike”. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Goldie ; and brother Buddy Mansfield.

Leroy is survived by his daughter Deedee Vickers and husband Jimmy; son Keith Mansfield and Carrie Caudle; grandchildren Dylan, Chelsea, Kayla, and Kasey; great grandchildren Cash, Cain, Stella, and Daxton; sister Laura Kernoodle; brothers Jimmy Mansfield and Jack Mansfield; and extended family.
