Reidsville: Lillie Mae Smith Sheffield, 92, formerly of Worsham Mill Road, Ruffin, NC died Friday, April 18, 2014 at Carolina House. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 21, 2014 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Dr. Keith Carroll and Rev. Beverly Gaska officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Lillie Mae was born in Rockingham County to the late Jim and Pearl Holbrook Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Carmel United Church where she taught Sunday school for 44 years. She is survived by her nieces, Sandra Key and Marie Marlowe and special cousin and caregivers for many years, G.W. and Betty Scearce. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Church. Memorials may be made to Mt.
