Lillie Violet Smith Boswell

Reidsville: Lillie Violet Smith Boswell, 88, passed away at her home on Friday, January 27, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Boswell and Rev. Christopher Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Violet was born in Stokes, Co. to the late George Watson Smith and Tempie Jane Snider Smith. She retired from Burlington Industries with 37 years of service and was of the Assembly of God Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie James Boswell and 11 siblings. She is survived by her son, James L. Boswell (Dana), daughter, Regina Boswell Newman (Donnnie), grandchildren, Angela Nelson (Chris) and Phillip Boswell (Amy); 5 great grandchildren.
