Greensboro – Linda Gayle Gibson, 67, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Beacon Place Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Reidlawn Cemetery with Chaplain John Connor officiating.
Linda was born on January 15, 1950, in Rockingham County to the late Walter and Helen Burrow. She was a homemaker and loved to cook and listen to and play music. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Gibbs and brother, Kenneth Burrow.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Gibson; her children, Chuck Gibson, Tabathy Lewis and Angela Buddington; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Grayson Burrow; a sister, Bonnie Moyer; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elaine and Norman Scott, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Mozelle Gibson, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
