Linda Kay Bratton

Reidsville: Linda Kay Bratton, 64, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017, at Penn Nursing Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Baptist Temple Church with Rev. Paul Warrick and Rev. Heath Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Linda was born on October 1, 1952, in Rockingham County, to the late Fred C. Bratton and Helen Gilley Bratton. She was a member of Baptist Temple Church. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and also did crafts at the Senior Citizen Center. Linda liked to play bingo at the Penn Center and she really loved the beach. She loved her family very much. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Freddy Lee Bratton. Survivors include her sister, Cynthia Bratton Weber and husband Roger; aunts and uncle, Mary Bratton, Kat Gilley and Bobby and Helen Bratton, and several cousins. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 2, 2017, from 6-8 P.M., at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at Cynthia’s home, 2502 Daffodil Rd..
