Linda Haney Robertson

Linda Haney Robertson, 85, of Reidsville went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 30, 2024.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Dr. Travis McGuirt officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of her son. 

Linda was born in Rockingham County to the late Jack and Maidie Haney. She graduated from Reidsville High School, and she never missed a single day of school. She graduated from Danville Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and faithfully served as a nurse. She retired from Rockingham County Health Department as the communicable disease nurse for twenty-seven years. 

Linda loved her friends and her family dearly. She was quick to lend a hand. She loved her dog, Charlie, and was rarely seen without him. 

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Mary Jane Hiatt and brother Roger Allen Haney. 

She is survived by her son Jonathan Jones and wife Jennifer, daughter Mindy Scott and husband Jon, grandsons Christian Morris and wife Caitlyn, Benjamin Jones, and Noah Jones, one great-granddaughter Chloe Ann, sister Carlene Holt and husband Bobby, and many nieces and nephews.
