Linda Dixon Walters

Reidsville- Linda Dixon Walters, 71, of 164 Shadowood Lane, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2010, at her home.A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Dave Huggins officiating. Linda was born in Rockingham County to the late Walter and Claire Lewey Dixon. She was a former Teachers Assistant with the Rockingham County School System and a member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 18 years. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda O’Connor and Marsha Smith and a brother, Phillip Dixon.Survivors include her husband, Dennis Walters of the home; sons, Dennis Walters, Jr. and wife, Karen and Mark Walters; grandchildren, Fletcher and Natalie Walters; sisters, Nancy Roland and Marilyn Dattero.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM and other times at the home.
