Lois Cable Stevenson

Browns Summit: Mrs. Lois Cable Stevenson 88, died January 5, 2014. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Friday, January 10, 2014 at Friendship United Methodist Church, 5222 NC 150 East, Browns Summit, with Rev. James Payne officiating. Mrs. Stevenson was a beautician, owned and operated Art Beauty Shop in Reidsville, NC for many years with her sister, Inez. She was a loving Mama, Mamaw and friend, she loved to make pound cakes, travel and fix hair. Ms. Stevenson was preceded in death by her husband, James H. (Steve) Stevenson; parents, Gaither and Nannie Cable; sister, Inez Cable and brother, Gordon Cable. Those left to cherish her memory include daughters, Lily Jo Payne (James), Nancy Jones (Joe); grandchildren, Steven Jones (Deana), Tracy Payne Forbes (Wade) and Michael Payne; great-grandsons, Thomas Jones and Preston Forbes.
