Lori Ann JobeLori Ann Jobe, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at her home. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM until 2:00PM. Our lives will be forever changed. We lost a cherished and loved friend and family member and we will miss her terribly. Now our memories will be even more cherished. No more will we hear her laughter and her funny stories. Her Sense of humor was one of her greatest gifts. Lori always strived for greatness, to be the best she could be in whatever she chose to accomplish. Most important is the assurance that Lori was a Christian and knew the Lord. She is now surrounded by his love and beauty all around. She graduated from Rockingham High School and went on to RCC where she earned an associate degree. From there she earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Liberty University. She was employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Winston Salem, where she was an exceptional employee. Lori was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vernell Bibee Craven. She leaves behind a brother, Carl Craven and wife, Betty Diane Craven; sister, Judy Fagge and husband, Paul and two nieces, Allyson and Olivia Fagge. Condolences may be made to the family at www.wilkersonfuneral.com.

Lori liked long walks on the beach, antiques, anything purple, hummingbirds and orchids. She would say Fear is a good thing, but lived fearlessly due to her faith. I was blessed to be her friend. My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones. We will all miss her.

I worked with Lori in the SMA dept. at BCBSNC. She had a smile that could light up any room and a laugh that was out of this world contagious. She was a beautiful person, both inside and out! I was truly blessed to have had the privilege to call her my friend. Until we meet again, enjoy your wings and soar high!

I worked with Lori when she met Larry at Sears back in the mid 1980's. I later worked with her at Guilford Mills Credit Union and then Greensboro Postal Credit Union. She was a very sweet person. Her laughter was contagious. She used to say better to laugh then cry. She wasn't a morning person and she called me Daisy Sunshine. I know she is the one smiling now. My deepest sympathies to the family. Carla Andrews Stamper

Lori was my first love and will always hold a special place in my heart. Lori loved to travel, antique shopping, new restaurants, read novels, and experience all the United States Natural Parks had to offer. Lori was a kind, giving soul who helped anyone in need. Lori will be missed but never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends during this time. - Larry
